CIMSPA Level 2 Gym Instructor & Level 3 Personal Trainer Qualifications

Our combined OFQUAL-regulated Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Training qualification is designed to take learners from complete beginner to fully qualified Personal Trainer. Aligned with the Professional Standards set by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), this qualification provides the knowledge, practical skills, and professional behaviours required to work confidently within the fitness industry.

Beginning with the Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, learners develop the essential foundations needed to work safely and effectively in a gym environment. They then progress onto the Level 3 Personal Training qualification, where they build advanced coaching, programme design, nutrition, and client management skills.

On successful completion, learners will be qualified to work in gyms, health clubs, leisure centres, and fitness organisations, or establish their own personal training business. The qualification also supports professional recognition through CIMSPA and provides eligibility for entry onto the European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPS) at Level 3.
